Three new functions for user and supplier codes:
Persons copying e-mails
On each user account, and especially on those of suppliers, you can now indicate who should be copied on e-mails sent by Smalltox. This is particularly useful for managing hierarchies or assistants:
- A “junior” salesperson may be monitored more closely by his or her manager, who may not want to be copied on quotations sent by his or her “senior” salespeople;
- A broker may want his assistant to receive copies of the commercial e-mails he sends to his customers for follow-up, reminders or filing.
Business, management and accounting e-mail addresses
There are now 3 types of e-mail linked to a user account:
- Commercial e-mail: The person who sends and receives commercial e-mails (quotes, proposals, contracts);
- Management e-mail (optional): This is the e-mail address used to receive management information (amendments, outstanding payments, due notices, etc.);
- Accounting e-mail (optional): The one who receives the slips.
And, of course, in each of these categories you can indicate several e-mails, all of which will receive a copy. If no management or accounting e-mail is indicated, the broker’s (commercial) e-mail will receive the entire message, for simplicity’s sake.
Different origins and response addresses
Smalltox exploits this feature on quotes and projects sent by the “commercial site” (origin) . When the customer presses ‘Reply’, they will actually write to their forwarder (reply address).
