Smalltox has an internal Electronic Document Management system that enables it to store and make available to users the dynamic documents it generates, static product documents and customer documents uploaded by customers and suppliers. These documents can now be retrieved by external partner systems via the management webservice. The webservice now transmits the list of available documents with the necessary metadata, enabling the partner to determine whether or not it already has the document, and whether it is up to date. The partner can then retrieve the documents he needs and doesn’t already have (tier payant card, contracts, due notices, supporting documents, etc.).
