Prisca is the head of the Project Owner Assistance department (AMOA Assurance) at Smalltox. She describes in a short one-minute video the tasks of her department.
It is a team of 4 people in 2023 who are in charge :
- Project management on business and functional aspects ;
- User training ;
- The support.
The projects cover both new developments and changes. This concerns the insurance products managed on Smalltox as well as the new intrinsic features of the software.
The project managers will meet with brokers, insurers, mutuals and pre-sales distributors partners, then take charge of the project when the scope is defined.
There will be a certain number of regular meetings or stand-ups to discuss the issues to be resolved and make decisions. These meetings are systematically the subject of a report on decisions and progress.
The project is documented via our internal wiki and our ticketing tool throughout the life of each product in order to keep track of developments.
Once the developments and configurations have been carried out, the revenues are made by AMOA Assurance itself, the distributor, the manager and the insurer risk holder.
This recipe includes the necessary integration flow tests (manager, electronic signature, RIA etc.) as well as the revenue from reporting (contributions, accounting, commissions and other remuneration, portfolio, risks and beneficiaries).
Once the product has been implemented, the AMOA department trains end users and provides them with user procedures for underwriting, management, accounting, or reporting. These are our famous “rapido sheets”.
Then, the AMOA department assists users and partners on a daily basis based on support for anything related to potential malfunctions and developments.
Product evolutions include notably the changes in warranty, pricing and indexations.
The team is composed of engineers and insurance specialists.
