{"id":4365,"date":"2024-01-26T20:36:00","date_gmt":"2024-01-26T20:36:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.smalltox.com\/new-agreement-rates-for-medical-consultations-by-general-practitioners-and-specialists\/"},"modified":"2024-01-26T20:36:00","modified_gmt":"2024-01-26T20:36:00","slug":"new-agreement-rates-for-medical-consultations-by-general-practitioners-and-specialists","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.smalltox.com\/en\/new-agreement-rates-for-medical-consultations-by-general-practitioners-and-specialists\/","title":{"rendered":"New agreement rates for medical consultations by general practitioners and specialists"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Since 11\/01\/2023, the rates for social security agreements for doctors in Metropolitan France are, for a coordinated basic consultation, in sector 1 and sector 2:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Generalists: \u20ac26.50 (\u20ac31.50 for children under 6 years old);<\/li>\n<li>Specialists: 31,50 \u20ac.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Particularities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pediatricians 33,50 \u20ac for children aged 2 to 6 years;<\/li>\n<li>Psychiatrists, neuropsychiatrists or neurologists: \u20ac51.70;<\/li>\n<li>Specific consultation with a cardiologist \u20ac54.00;<\/li>\n<li>The one-time consultant opinion is 56.50 \u20ac for specialists in general and 64 \u20ac for psychiatrists, neuropsychiatrists and neurologists;<\/li>\n<li>Complex consultation: \u20ac47.50.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>References : <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameli.fr\/assure\/actualites\/tarifs-des-consultations-medicales-ce-qui-change-au-1er-novembre\">Ameli<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Doctors can practice in 3 sectors:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The doctors in sectors 1 and 2 are affiliated with the mandatory regime (Social security):\n<ul>\n<li>Conventioned sector 1: The rates are those of the social security reimbursement base.<\/li>\n<li>Sector 2 agreement with free fees: The rate is free but must remain moderate compared to the social security reimbursement base.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The doctors in sectors 3 are not under agreement. The rates are set freely by the doctor. Patients are then reimbursed on the basis of the very low &#8216;authority fee&#8217; (less than \u20ac2).  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The &#8216;in addition&#8217; rate of the social security base is called &#8216;overpayment&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Even for sectors 1 and 2, social security reimburses only a part of the convention rate (the reimbursement rate for consultations is 70% for example). The balance between the convention rate and the social security reimbursement is called the &#8216;co-payment&#8217; fee.<\/p>\n<p>For those who have one, the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.smalltox.com\/en\/collective-module\/\"> responsible health<\/a> supplements reimburse at least the moderator\u2019s ticket.
